Women's Lacrosse Slated Fifth in 2025 GNAC Preseason Poll

WINTHROP, MA - Following a vote amongst the league's head coaches, the Elms College Women's Lacrosse team has been selected to finish fifth in the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll, as announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Elms is entering their fourth season with the GNAC, when asked about competing and the outlook for the upcoming season Coach Patty Pehnke stated that "I could not be more excited and motivated for this opportunity. The hard work is just starting, and I can not wait for a great Elms College Volleyball season. Go Blazers!"

The Blazers finished their season with an overall record of 5-8, with a 5-6 conference record, making it to the Play-In Round of the 2024 GNAC Tournament, hostin Lasell University. With the taste of postseason still fresh, the Elms Women's Lacrosse team is hungry to build upon their recent postseason appearance.

Elms will start the season on the road at Salem State University on Saturday, March 1st and will host Regis College for their home and conference opener on Saturday, March 8th at 1 pm at Leary Field.

The 2025 GNAC Tournament will begin on Saturday, April 26th for the First Round leading up to the Championship which will be held on Monday, May 5th in which the winning team will have a chance to qualify into the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
