Cronin Named GNAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced their weekly award selections for the week ending on March 17th Monday evening.

Junior Jackie Cronin (Smithtown, N.Y.) would be named the GNAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week after recording 11 goals, seven assists, 18 points, 11 ground balls, 12 draw controls, and seven caused turnovers in their two games last week for Elms against Mount Holyoke and Albertus Magnus. Of the 23 points scored last week by the Blazers, Cronin would be involved in 18 of those points. Cronin is also the first Elms Women's Lacrosse player to earn a conference weekly award since the 2023 season.

Graduate student infielder AJ Cook (Mendon, Mass.) would be named to the GNAC Baseball Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season.
