The NCAA announced its seedings and sites for the 2007 Division III Softball Championship on Monday morning. Softball Wins Second Straight NAC Tournament Championship

Junior pitcher Tammie Tremblay (Springfield, MA) earned Tournament MVP honors and the softball team defeated No. 1 Lasell 4-2 in the championship game of the 2007 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Tournament. With the win, the Blazers also earn their second straight berth into the upcoming NCAA Division III Championship.

The softball team held off a late rally by the University of Maine-Farmington to post a thrilling 7-6 win in Saturday afternoon's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Tournament winners bracket game. Elms College now advances to Sunday's 11:00 a.m. championship game to face top-seeded Lasell, which defeated Maine-Farmington 3-1 in Saturday's consolation bracket final.

Elms College will play at top-seeded Lasell in the opening game of the double-elimination NAC Softball Tournament on Friday, May 4. Game time is 12:00 p.m. The winner then advances to Saturday's 1:00 p.m. game. All three days of the tournament will be played at Lasell in Newton, Massachusetts.
