Bish Earns All-American Status With Sixth-Place Finish At Long Jump Nationals

GENEVA, Ohio. – Elms College senior Trifon Bish (St. Catherine, Jamaica) made the Elms College track and field team's inaugural debut at the 2017 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted at The SPIRE Institute Thursday afternoon.

In the long jump event, Bish finished sixth overall with a leap of 7.08 meters. With a top 8 finish, Bish became the first track & field athlete in program history to garner All-American status.

Bish qualified for the National Championships in both the long jump and the triple jump events. Bish will compete in the triple jump event Saturday afternoon.
