Pearce Finishes in First Place at Wentworth Invitational

BOSTON, MA - The Elms College Golf team has entered their spring season, starting off at the Wentowrth Institute of Technology Invitational at the George Wright Golf Course in Boston, MA.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

The Elms College Golf team took to the links over the weekend as four of our athletes competed in the invitational. As a team they shot a score of 335, just eleven strokes short of the Wentworth Leopards who tallied a score of 326. 

First year Miguel Pearce (Guilford, CT) finished first out of all the golfers with a score of 72, recording his first career 1st place finalist spot. For the rest of the Blazers, Liam Fitzgibbons (Pittsfield, MA) shot an 84, Declan Flynn (Hingham, MA) shot an 86, and Austin Scott (Chicopee, MA) finished with a score of 93.

The Elms College Golf team will compete in their final golf invitational this coming weekend, Friday and Saturday April 7th & 8th. At the Rhode Island College Invitational.
