Blazer Golf placed 7th in the Blazer Invitational

CHICOPEE, MA - The Elms College men's golf team hosted the Blazer Invitational this weekend at Ledges Golf Club, South Hadley (first day) and Cold Spring Country Club (second day). The Blazers finished in 7th place behind Norwich University.

Elms posted a total team score of 686, 83 strokes behind first place team Amherst College (603).

Mike Keefe led the Blazers finishing T10th, tying with Mauro Stanchieri (Suffolk College) and Sean Mendyk (SUNY, Old Westbury). Miguel Pearce finished second for Elms and T19th overall shooting 163. Liam Fitzgibbons finished in T40th shooting an 181 for the day followed closely being John Vandal with an 185. Austin Scott finished 53rd, shooting an 196.

Elms College Declan Flynn golfed as an individual finishing T36, shooting an 178 over the weekend. Flynn shot an 88 on Saturday's match and followed with a 90 on Sunday.
