Men's Golf Finishes 2nd in Season Opener

DORCHESTER, MA - The Elms College golf team places second in their season opener at Emmanuel College Invitational at William J. Devine Golf Course. 

Elms posted a total team score of 331, 17 strokes behind team Rhode Island College and 1 stroke ahead of Mitchell College.

Mike Keefe led the Blazers finishing 4th, tying with Shamus Mclean (Mitchell College) overall shooting 77, 1 stroke behind first place. Liam Fitzgibbons finished second for Elms and 9th overall shooting 81. Declan Flynn finished in 12th shooting an 86 for the day followed closely being Austin Scott with an 87. Tying 14th, John Vandal shooting an 89. 

The Blazers will be back in action for an 18-hole match at the Castleton Invitational on Friday Sept. 23rd - Saturday Sept. 24th.
