Pearce Selected as GNAC Rookie of the Week

Great Northeast Athletic conference: Rookie Of the Week (Oct. 9th- Oct. 15th)

CHICOPEE, MA - The Elms College men's golf team is proud of their first year golfer Miguel Pearce as he was selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.

Miguel Pearce a first year golfer from Guilford, Connecticut has been selected as the Men's Golf Rookie of the Week! Pearce had a phenominal weekend golfing in the GNAC Championship finishing in the top five shooting a 159 overall. In the first round of the tournament Pearce shot a 79, finishing in third for the day 4 strokes behind the leader, following the 2nd round he fell to 5th place after shooting a 80. Pearce would only have 10 more strokes than the number one finisher. 

Pearce also represented the Blazers in the NEIGA tournament this weekend finishing T87th out of over 120+ golfers. Pearce shot a 167 overall with a 80 in the first round and an 87 in the second.
