With the loss, Elms moves to 12-11 overall, 10-4 in NECC action, while Regis improves to 9-11 overall, 8-4 in league play.

Elms shot 39.7-percent from the field led by French's 6 for 18 effort from the field and 3 for 7 output from the three-point line. He also hit on 7 of 7 free throws as the Blazers shot 84.6-percent from the stripe.

After playing a tightly contested first half that saw the Blazers take a 41-37 lead into the break, the second half continued in much the same fashion.

A Charles trey at the 10:03 mark gave the Pride a 63-59 lead but Lockett answered by making a bucket underneath, drawing a foul, and swishing the ensuing free throw to pull Elms to within one at 63-62. Leak and French then exchanged buckets to set the score at 65-64 before Regis scored 10 unanswered points, capped by a pair of Leak free throws to give the Pride a 75-64 advantage with 5:25 to play in the contest.

A jumper by Lockett momentarily halted the run and brought the Blazers' deficit within nine but Peana responded with a jumper on the next possession and Regis was able to keep a double-digit cushion for the duration of the game.

Chambers struck for a three-pointer and the Pride connected on 7 of 10 from the foul line to close out the game and pull away to its 91-74 victory.

Elms returns to NECC action on Wednesday, February 12 at Becker College at 8:00 p.m. in Leicester, Mass.
