Fobbs Received Back to Back Swimmer of the Week Honor

WINTHROP, MA - Grad Student DeAngela Fobbs (Bowie, MD) was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week in the week 7 selections, this is Fobbs second honor in back to back weeks.

Fobbs had an outstanding performance over the weekend of December 1st and the 2nd as she had four first place finishes. The grad student touched the wall first in the 50 (26.86 seconds) and 100 (1:00:06) yard fly in Fridays events, she also broke the Regis pool record in the 50 fly and set a new school record at Elms. In the same night Fobbs also broke the school record at elms for the 100 fly.

On Saturday Fobbs continued her stellar performance placing first in both the 100 and 200 yard free!
