Women's Swimming Tabbed Fourth in GNAC Championship Poll

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Elms College women's swimming team was selected fourth in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Swimming & Diving Championship Coaches' Poll, released by the conference office Thursday morning.

The Blazers received 26 total points to finish two points shy of third place in the poll. Simmons College was a unanimous choice for first-place, receiving 49 points and all seven first-place votes. Fellow New England Collegiate Conference member Regis College was second with 39 points, followed by Saint Joseph's (CT) at third with 28 points. Husson came in at fifth with 24 points, trailed by Saint Joseph's (ME) with 22 points and Norwich in seventh with eight points.

Elms will return to action this weekend at the GNAC Championships, hosted at Simmons College on Saturday and Sunday.
