Softball Picked Sixth in NECC Preseason
Mansfield, MA – The Elms College Softball Team has been selected sixth in the New England Collegiate Conference preseason poll. The Blazers collected eight totally points in the voting.
With the 2021 season being shortened due to COVID-19, the Blazers will only compete against conference opponents.
EC veteran head coach Cheryl Condon will lead a squad which returns eight starters, including Tyla Risucci (Watertown, Conn.) and Sofie Oliveira (Windsor Locks, Conn.).
The NECC Softball Championship will take place on May 7 through May 9.
The Blazers start the 2021 season at home on Condon Field when they host Lesley University for a doubleheader on Thursday April 1st. First pitch is scheduled for 3PM.
