Hampton Named NECC Pitcher of the Week

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Elms College senior softball pitcher Courtney Hampton (Westfield, Mass.) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Hampton garnered her second NECC accolade following a 4-0 week for Elms in which she pitched all four games and earned all four wins. Hampton struck out a total of 20 batters including five each in two games against Newbury College and six in the second game of a twinbill against Becker College. Hampton allowed just three runs, one earned in 26 innings in the circle for the Blazers.
