HOW IT HAPPENED
Regis would get on the board early, scoring in the fourth minute. Moments later, Elms would respond with a goal of their own, after junior Jacobo Molina Ferrer (Valencia, Spain) would score after receiving a pass from sophomore Patricio Vidales (Cancun, Mexico) in the 11th minute. Following the goal, both sides would trade possession but the Blazers led the way, adding to the pressure taking four more shots before the end of the opening half.
The second half would open with another quick goal, after a pass from junior Pajorn Drysdale (Nantucket, Mass.) found an open Vidales to score the go-ahead goal and take the lead from the Pride. Both teams would continue adding shots, until the 89th minute when Molina Ferrer would score the Blazers third goal (assisted by senior Jamal Hamisi (Nottingham, United Kingdom)) to secure the victory for Elms 3-1.
