BOSTON, MA - The Elms College Men's Soccer team fell to a 6-0 loss this afternoon against the Emmanuel College Saints.

How it Happened

Blazers' senior goalkeeper, Colin Liedke started in net for Saturday's game against the Saints attaining eight saves in the first half. Liedke split play time with sophomore goalkeeper Aidan Berube, who finished out the game having seven saves. The Saints outshot the Blazers in the first half with 19 shots, including 4 goals scored. The Blazers finished the half with 3 shots with 2 of them on goal. Emmanuel would hold the lead 4-0 leading into the half.

Elms was able to draw up four more shots in the second half with 2 on-goal but were unable to crack one into the back of the net. Musa Jiana was able to get off three (3) of the seven (7) total shots for the Blazers followed by first-year Noah Jacques with two (2). Both Blazers led the team in shots against the Saints. Despite the continuous hassle from our men's soccer team, they were unable to make a comeback falling 6-0 to the Emmanuel College Saints.

Joey Soucy (Attleboro, MA) the sophomore forward carried the Saint's offense with two goals and an assist in the conference matchup.
