CHICOPEE, MA  –  Men's Soccer was on the road this morning to neighboring school Western New England. Blazers battled hard but couldn't stop the Golden Bears from finding the net.

1st Half How It Happened

Just seconds into the start of the game Blazers goalie, Collin Liedke (Newington, CT) starts off this game with a save just at the 00:35 mark. The Golden Bears started right off the jump with an offensive push. The Blazers defended well in the first half and kept the Golden Bears out of the net. Forward Brandyn Costa, had the first shot on goal for the Blazers at the 3:51 mark. The game is tied 0-0 at the end of the first half.

2nd Half How It Happened

The Blazers got into some foul trouble early in the second half leading to a break in their defensive hold against the Golden Bears. At the 58:51 mark the Golden Bears Matt Spruill (Enfield, CT) snuck in a goal to put them up 1-0. Not too long after the Golden Bears carried their momentum to another goal at the 60:24 mark by Spruill for his second goal of the game. Blazers Senior Musa Jaina (Chicopee, MA), had a shot but unfortunately went wide right by the goal. The Blazers didn't find the net but kept battling for 90 minutes. The Golden Bears win 0-4.
