Men's Soccer Gets Clipped By The Lasers

NEWTON, MA - The Elms College men's soccer team traveled up to Lasell University where they faced off against the Lasers tonight, falling 4-1. Blazers goal was scored by Noah Jaques in the first at the 30:18 minute mark to tie the game heading into the half.

How it happened

The first half was an even battle between the Blazers and the Lasers, tied 1-1 going into half. Laser got on the board first with a goal by Ryan Klopchin from Daniel Faynstein with the assist at the nine minute mark. Blazers answered back with the equalizer goal for the half by first year Noah Jaques.

Laser edged ahead in the second half getting a goal in the first 8 minutes making the score 2-1. Laser goal scored by Liam Thompson, assisted by Daniel Faynstein. Blazers Noah Jaques made multiple attempts on net but Lasers goalkepper Gabrielus Bazikas shut out the blazers in the second half. Laser continued to advance their lead with two more goals against Elms. Lasells' Jaydon Perez scores a penalty kick goal at the 26 minute mark making the score 4-1. Blazers goalie Collin Liedke held strong in net making eight saves.
