Men’s Basketball Can’t Keep Up With Bulldogs

The backcourt combination of Jordan Booker and Dayvon Russell combined for 52 points as visiting Dean College was able grab a 90-76 victory over Elms College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) men's basketball action on Saturday.

The Blazers got off to a great start and carried a lead into the last five minute of the first half. However the Bulldogs would not be denied, shooting nearly 50 percent from the floor, while connecting on 11 three-pointers in securing the season sweep over the Blazers.

EC stayed close by going 20-for-25 from the free throw and some sharp shooting from D.J. Edelen who finished with 12 points. David Lopez Jr led the Blazers in scoring with 14 points and Tyler Sterling pitched in 12 points off the bench.

Booker and Russell were big for the Bulldogs and finisheding with a combined 52 points.

The Blazers are back in action on Wednesday February 13^th at Becker College with a 7pm tip off.
