Lehouillier Garners NECC Weekly Honors
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – For the fourth time this season, Elms College freshman women's cross country runner Rachel Lehouillier (Belchertown, Mass.) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.
Lehouillier raced to a time of 22:53 in the women's 5-kilometer race at the Western New England University Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 15, helping the Blazers to a 16th place finish. Lehouillier finished 82nd out of 191 runners in the field and was the top NECC runner, crossing the finish line 2:02 faster than the nearest league competitor.
