Lehouillier Named NECC Rookie of the Week in Women's Cross Country

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Elms College freshman runner Rachel Lehouillier (Belchertown, Mass.) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week in women's cross country as announced by the league office on Monday.

Lehouillier sprinted to a time of 22:46 in the 5-kilometer women's race at the Blazers Invitational and finished as the second fastest NECC runner. Lehouillier's time of 22:46 is ranked sixth all-time among all Elms runners for the Blazers' home course at Chicopee Memorial State Park. This is Lehouillier's second weekly accolade of the 2011 season.
