Men's Volleyball Lands Five on NECC All-Conference Team
MANSFIELD, MA – The NECC announced its 2020 Men's Volleyball All-Conference teams and major award winners on Thursday morning. The awards were voted on by the conference's seven coaches following the conclusion of an abbreviated season due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Endicott College and Elms College dominated the All-Conference teams, with five selections a piece, as well as all four major awards. Nichols College filled the final two all-conference slots, while each of the seven conference institutions had a student-athlete named to the Del Malloy Sportsmanship Team.
Jeremy Torres (Juncos, P.R) and Antonio Delgado (Aibonito, P.R.) were selected to the NECC first team, while teammates Diego Hernandez, (San Juan, P.R.), Carlos Mercado, (Barranquitas, P.R.), and Daniel Martinez, (Bayamon, P.R.). First year Ben Laxton, (Chicopee, MA) was named to the Del Malloy Sportsmanship Team.Below are the complete All-Conference Teams:
