Blazers Corral Bison

Dudley, Ma – The Elms College field hockey team traveled the Nichols College and took home a (4-1) win on Sunday afternoon at a rainy Vendetti Field.

The Blazers got on the board in the 27^th minute on a goal from Katelyn Jones (San Diego, CA) off an assist from Samantha Bonneau (Skowhegan, ME). The home side tied things up in the 31^st minute at (1-1). That would be it for Bison goals on the day.

Elms took control of the game scoring 2 goals in 2minutes. Ellie Serra (Palmer, MA) found the back of the cage off an assist from Jones, followed by a goal from Carissa Ramirez (San Diego, CA) off an assist from Evelyn DeVaux (Wethersfield, CT) 

Erin Thibodeau (East Longmeadow, MA) capped off the scoring for the Blazers off an assist from Ramirez.

Nora Newman was strong all game in net for the Blazers, finishing with 10 saves.

Elms is back in action on Sunday, April 18^th when they host Anna Maria College for their final spring game of 2021.
