Baseball Selected to Finish Sixth in 2012 NECC Preseason Poll

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The Elms College baseball team was selected to finish sixth in the 2012 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Preseason Poll as announced by the organization on Wednesday.

Elms finished its 2011 season 15-19 overall under head coach Nathan Bashaw who is entering his second year at the helm.

Daniel Webster College, which received four first place votes and 44 points, return 21 players with six starters including three first-team all-conference selections and were chosen as the preseason favorite to win the league. 

Becker College and Southern Vermont College each finished with 37 points and one first place vote in a tie for second place.
