Four Athletes Selected to the Women's Lacrosse GNAC ALL-Conference End of Year Awards

CHICOPEE, MA- The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team had four student athletes selected to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference ALL-Conference Teams for the 2023 season.

ATHELTES SELECTED

Anna-Elise Pikul (Belchertown, MA) was named to the Second Team for the GNAC ALL-Conference selections. The senior captain recorded 50 goals in the season, while finishing tenth in the conference with 70 points. Pikul was just as effective defensively as offensively, recording her 200th career draw control this season, finishing with 146 career ground balls and 57 caused turnovers.

Taylor Borla (Southington, CT) ended the year being pinned to the Third Team ALL-Conference selections for her position as attack. The Senior Co-captain finished fifteenth in the conference for overall goals this season with 46, ending her career with a total of 94. Borla also sits at fifteenth in the conference for points with 63, and with 96 shots on net the senior sits at eighteenth in the conference for shots.

Elise Paier (West Springfield, MA) ended her junior year being named to the ALL-Conference Third Team for attack alongside her co-captain. The attacker was also selected to the ALL-Sportsmanship Team in the end of the year awards as well. Paier ended with 39 goals and 70 shots on goal ranking in the top 50 for both in the conference. The Junior Co-captain found herself sitting in twentieth for points in the conference with 54.

Jackie Cronin (Smithtown, NY) found herself being named to the ALL-Rookie team after a tremendous first year as a Blazers. Cronin in her first year was ranked thirteenth in the conference with 20 assists and top fifty in the conference for goals with 28. The first year from New York also registered 50 ground balls this season and 13 caused turnovers, while also sitting thirty first in the conference with 48 points.
