Hapgood Christened as Head Coach of Men's and Women's Volleyball

CHICOPEE, Mass. - Elms College Athletic Director Rob Southall announced this week that Brandon Hapgood will be the College's new Head Coach for Men's and Women's Volleyball.

"We are excited that Brandon is joining our Elms College Blazer family, his background and experience have put him in a position to be successful" said Southall. "We are excited to watch him grow and develop our volleyball programs".

Most recently, Hapgood was a member of GNAC opponent, Lasell University (NCAA Div. III), as an outside hitter and opposite. In his four seasons with the Lasers, Hapgood recorded 79.5 points, 65 kills, 39 digs, 13 blocks, seven service aces, and eight assists during 83 sets played in 39 matches. Since graduating from Lasell, Hapgood has coached at the high school and club levels, most notably with Western Massachusetts Volleyball Club.

The Wilbraham, Mass. native is a 2022 graduate of Lasell where he received his bachelor's degree in Sport Management.
