Rainey Named NECC Player of the Week in Men’s Volleyball
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College junior middle hitter Bryson Rainey (Brookline, Mass.) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.
Rainey earned his first player of the week award of the season following a 23-kill effort in a 3-1 victory over Johnson & Wales University and finished with 30 total kills during the Blazers' 2-0 week. He hit .643 for the week led by his stellar 4.29 kills per set average in addition to tallying 14 digs and three service aces.
