Rainey Named NECC Player of the Week
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College sophomore Bryson Rainey (Brookline, Mass.) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week as announced by the league organization on Monday.
Rainey garnered his first weekly accolade of the season playing in two of Elms' three matches this week, notching a double-double of 15 kills and 10 digs in a 3-2 win over Southern Vermont College and 12 kills and nine digs in a 3-2 win over Wentworth Institute of Technology. He also added five assisted blocks against the Leopards and finished with a .327 hitting percentage during the two matches.
