Men’s Cross Country Tabbed to Finish Fourth in 2013 NECC Preseason Poll

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Elms College men's cross country team was tabbed to finish fourth in the 2013 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Preseason poll as announced by the league office on Thursday.

The Blazers return three runners to the trails from last year's squad including seniors Jesse Zina (Springfield, Mass.) and John Southworth (Springfield, Mass.). Zina holds the fourth, fifth and sixth slots on Elms' school record board for any 8-kilometer course and will look to continue to excel under the direction of second-year head coach Matt Dyer.
