Members of the Cross Country Teams Conclude Season at Pride Classic

WESTON, Mass. – Members of the Elms College cross country teams competed at the Pride Classic hosted by Regis College on Sunday afternoon in Weston, Mass.

Sophomore Adam Kuzdzal (Chicopee, Mass.) and freshman Joshua Diaz Rolon (Chicopee, Mass.) competed in the 200-meter dash and recorded times of 26.37 and 26.13 respectively.

The pair also competed in the 1500-meter run with Kuzdzal posting a time of 5:10.34 and Diaz Rolon clocking a time of 5:20.15.

Senior John Southworth (Springfield, Mass.) notched a time of 20.47 in the 100-meter dash.

On the women’s side, Elms had four runners compete in the 5000-meter run: junior Shirley Ryan (Brimfield, Mass.) (24:17.20), sophomore Emma Bernard (Springfield, Mass.) (24:23.56), freshman Samantha White (Tolland, Mass.) (24:27.31) and sophomore Jaqueline Quetti (Pittsfield, Mass.) (28:14.30).
