Women's Swimming Comes Up Short At Umass Dartmouth

Dartmouth, MA - The Elms College Blazer Swim Teams made the trip to Umass Dartmouth on Saturday 11/16 for a regular season dual meet. Both the women's and men's teams fell to Umass 153-87, and 219-45 respectively.

The women's meet was highlighted by a 1-2-3 finish for the Blazers in the 50 freestyle. Kelly Scianna (Milford, CT), Julianne Gordon (Plaistow, NH), and Nia Major (Springfield, MA) all finished close to or in season best fashion.

Eddie Helldorfer (Brunswick, ME) and Brittany North (Palmer, MA) both earned the other victories for the Blazers in the 50 fly and 200 back respectively.

Victoria Wanko (South Yarmouth, MA) closed out the meet with another lifetime best time as a member of the 400 freestyle relay. 

The Blazers return to competition on Saturday 11/23 at home against Bridgewater State University at 11am.
