Reis Levy, Bondarovsky Earn NECC All-Conference Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Elms College sophomores Gabriel Reis Levy (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and Daniel Bondarovsky (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) were voted to the 2016 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) All-Conference teams, announced by the league office Monday. Reis Levy was tabbed to the First Team, while Bondarovsky claimed Second Team status. Both are taking home their first All-Conference awards in their Blazers career.
Reis Levy ranked second in the NECC in kills per set with an average of 2.93, and ranked fourth in kills, totaling a career-high 275 on the season. Reis Levy added 154 digs, a career- high 40 blocks and a career-high 21 services during his sophomore campaign. Gabriel posted a career-high in hitting percentage (.213), and set a career-high with 21 kills against Fontbonne.
Bondarovsky led the Blazers in kills with a career-high 281 kills, tied for the lead in the league, while ranking fourth in kills per set (2.84) and total blocks (67), both career-high for the sophomore. Bondarovsky notched a career-high 168 digs, seventh-most in the NECC, and a career-high 20 service aces.
Senior Roger Conklin (Chicopee, Mass.) was chosen as Elms representative for the NECC All-Sportsmanship team.
