Moreno and Ladouceur Bring Home GNAC Weekly Awards

WINTHROP, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced their weekly award selections for the week ending on March 2nd Monday evening.  

GNAC Men's Volleyball Weekly Awards Release - March 3, 2025

Sophomore Sam Moreno (El Paso, Texas) would be named the GNAC Men's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week after adding 30 digs, 69 receptions, four assists, and two kills in their five matches last week for Elms against Lasell, Springfield, Elmira, SUNY New Paltz, and SUNY Poly.

First year Hunter Ladouceur (Wilbraham, Mass.) would be named the GNAC Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week after recording 98 assists, 22 digs, eight kills, three service aces, and two block assists last week for the Blazers.

Sophomore Nick Uschmann (Agawam, Mass.) would be named to the GNAC Men's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll after produced 50 kills (3.13 k/s) and 21 digs (1.31 d/s) for the Blazers. Had 10 kills vs. Springfield before collected 17 kills and 13 digs vs SUNY Poly.
