Turco Named GNAC Rookie of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced their weekly award selections for the week ending on November 17th Monday evening.

GNAC Women's Basketball Weekly Awards Release - November 18, 2024

First year forward/center Mary Turco (Winthrop, Mass.) was named the GNAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week after she recorded 33 points, 23 rebounds, three assists, and a steal while shooting 12 for 16 from the field and nine out 13 from the free throw line for the Blazers last week against Emerson and Fitchburg State. On Saturday against the Falcons, Turco recorded 27 of those points shooting 11 for 12 from the field.
