Elms presents Black History Month Week of Celebration

Chicopee, MA -- Highlighting the accomplishments of the pioneers of yesterday, today and tomorrow, this week kicks off the Elms College Black Experience Summit. Presentations begin Monday, February 22 at 12 p.m. and run daily, covering topics such as "Finding my place, engaging faculty and staff;" movie night "Judas and Messiah;" highlighting Black voices in "Speaking Truth to Power;" Black History Month Kickback and Play; and "Underscoring Resilience -- A Call to Action." Events are presented by Student Affairs, The Office of Diversity and Engagement, Sisters of Saint Joseph, The Mission Office, Multicultural Scholars Collective, Student Government, and the Activities Board.
