Sarah Tatgenhorst Named NECC Runner of the Week

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College sophomore Sarah Tatgenhorst (Winterport, Maine) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, in the first edition of the weekly awards announced by the league office Monday afternoon. Tatgenhorst receives her first NECC Runner of the Week award.
In her first action of the 2015 season, Tatgenhorst, the reigning NECC Rookie of the Year, placed third overall out of a field of 80 runners at the Husson Harrier Invitational Saturday afternoon. Tatgenhorst finished with a time of 22:06.
Tatgenhorst and the Blazers will return to action at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts on September 19th.
