DeGrazia Named GNAC Swimmer of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. - Elms College junior Devon DeGrazia (Westport, Mass.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Swimmer of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday. 

Against Smith College on Nov. 13, DeGrazia won the 800-meter freestyle (10:09.71), the 200-meter backstroke (2:41.72) and edged senior teammate Tessa Dudunake (Northampton, Mass.) in the 50-meter freestyle with a winning time of 29.84. Against Colby-Sawyer College on Nov. 17, DeGrazia secured three first place finishes, powering to times of 10:00.97 in the 800-meter freestyle, 34.62 in the 50-meter backstroke, and 1:15.11 in the 100-meter backstroke. This is DeGrazia's first swimmer of the week award, and second GNAC weekly accolade of the season.
