KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Elms College junior Brie Voight (Springfield, Mass.) became the second player in Women's Soccer program history to be named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Region team, earning All-New England Third Team honors, announced by the association Tuesday.

Voight grabbed New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Year and consecutive All-NECC First Team accolades after a record-breaking junior season, where she set new program records in points (47) and goals (19), leading the conference in both categories, while adding nine assists. Voight also set the new program mark for game-winning goals in a season, delivering seven winning tallies for the Blazers. Nationally, Voight ranked 8th in game-winning goals, 16th in total points and 20th in total goals.

"For Brie to get this recognition is fantastic," said Elms College Head Coach Sean Milbier. "The all-region teams are voted on by other coaches, so that's showing Brie a lot of respect, but I also think it's showing our program a lot of respect. It's an individual awards, but we look at as a team award."
