Women's Lacrosse Slated Fourth in 2024 GNAC-South Preseason Poll

WINTHROP, MA - Following a vote amongst the league's head coaches, the Elms College Women's Lacrosse team has been selected to finish fourth in the South Division of the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll, as announced on Wednesday morning.

Elms is entering their third season with the GNAC, when asked about competing and the outlook for the upcoming season Coach Lorin Field stated that "Elm's Women's Lacrosse is ready to make a statement in the GNAC-South Division this year. The team has battled adversity before, and they are always ready with what is thrown their way. The keys to this success will be staying positive, working hard, and trusting the process. Go Blazers!"

The Blazers finished their season with an overall record of 7-8, finishing with a 6-7 conference record. Despite the outcome after last season the team will enter the 2024 season with their heads up ready to leave last season in the past.

The 2024 GNAC Tournament will begin on Thursday, April 25th with the Play In Round leading up to the Championship which will be held on Saturday, May 4th in which the winning team will have a chance to qualify into the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.

The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team will start their season on the road on Saturday, February 24th at Salve Regina University with a 12:00 PM start.
