
Softball Selected Eighth in 2025 GNAC Preseason Poll
WINTHROP, Mass. - Following a vote amongst the league's head coaches, the Elms College Softball team has been selected to finish eighth in the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Softball Preseason Poll - South Division, as announced on Friday afternoon.

Elms is entering their fourth season with the GNAC, when asked about competing and the outlook for the upcoming season Coach Bre Marcyoniak stated that "we are looking forward to competing as the underdog in the South Division. We are excited for a season of growth ahead with a core group of returners and hungry first-years".
The Blazers finished their season with an overall record of 4-43, with a 1-17 conference record. With missing the postseason last year, the Elms Softball team is ready for their upcoming season.
Elms will start the season on the road on Saturday, March 8th against University of Wisconsin-Superior and Bethany College, W.V. in Naples, Fla. and will host Bay Path University in a doubleheader for their home opener on Thursday, March 20th at 2 & 4 pm at Cheryl R. Condon Field. They will then travel to Anna Maria College for their conference opener on Saturday, March 29th at 12 & 2 pm.
The 2025 GNAC Tournament will begin on Thursday, May 1st for the First Round of Pod Play in a double-elimination tournament leading up to the Championship Series which will be held on Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th in which the winning team will have a chance to qualify into the 2025 NCAA Division III Softball Tournament.
