Softball Assigned Seventh in 2024 GNAC-South Preseason Poll

WINTHROP, MA - Following a vote amongst the league's head coaches, the Elms College Softball team has been selected to finish seventh in the South Division of the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Softball Preseason Poll, as announced on Thursday morning.

Elms is entering their third season with the GNAC, when asked about competing and the outlook for the upcoming season Coach Bre Marcyoniak stated that "we are looking forward to competing as the underdog. We are hungry for a season of growth ahead with experienced returners and talented newcomers"

The Blazers finished their season with an overall record of 3-27, finishing with a 2-8 conference record. Despite the outcome after last season the team will enter the 2024 season with their heads up ready to leave last season in the past.

The 2024 GNAC Tournament will begin on Tuesday, April 30th with the Play In Round leading up to the Championship which will be held on Saturday, May 11th in which the winning team will have a chance to qualify into the 2024 NCAA Division III Softball Tournament.

The Elms College Softball team will start their season on the road this Sunday, March 3rd against Saint Vincent College and Bluffton University at the Legends Way Complex in Clermont, FL with a 9:00 and 11:15 AM starts.
