Jiana Tabbed GNAC Player/Rookie of the Week

WINTHROP, MA – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has selected sophomore Musa Jiana (Brikama, Gambia) Player/Rookie of the Week.

In a pair of victories for the Blazers, the first-year had three goals, including two game-winners. He scored twice against Fitchburg State in a 2-0 win before netting the decider against Lasell in a 2-1 GNAC victory, the first for Elms.

Jiana will look to continue his hot start when the Blazers travel to Dean College on Wednesday 9/8 at 4PM.
