Elms College Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Rosamaria Riccobono, as our head women's lacrosse coach.

"We are excited to welcome Rosamaria into our Blazer family, We think her leadership and dedication will allow our lacrosse program to reach new heights," announced by Ellen McEwen Director of Athletics at Elms College.

Prior to her arrival at Elms, Riccobono was a four year member of the women's lacrosse program at Eastern Connecticut State University. While a student-athlete she was selected to serve on the NCAA Division III National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. In addition, to representing the Little East Conference and New England Small Athletic Conference, she was also selected as the recipient of the SAAC Student-Athlete Shining Star Award at Eastern Connecticut. In addition to her work as a student-athlete, Riccobono was designated as an athletic department intern who helped with basketball game operations and fundraising efforts.

After graduation Rosamaria started her coaching career as an assistant coach at Division III SUNY Purchase, while coaching at the lacrosse club Team 91 Tri-Sate, and working at Women's Sports Foundation as the Play IX assistant. "I would like to thank Ellen McEwen and the rest of the search committee for the opportunity to join the Blazer family. I'm extremely excited and grateful for the chance to continue the growth and success of the Elms Women's lacrosse program."

The Queens, NY native earned her bachelor's degree in Sport and Leisure Management from Eastern Connecticut in May 2017.

Riccobono, inherits a Blazer program that went 13-3 and lost in the NECC Championship last year.
