Cross Country Wraps Season at NCAA DIII New England Championships

WATERFORD, Conn. – The Elms College men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their 2015 season at the 2015 NCAA Division III New England Regional Cross Country Championship Saturday afternoon at Harkness Memorial State Park.

The men's squad finished 53^rd out of a 55-team field in the men's draw. Freshman Keith Brown (Hartford, Conn.) finished 228^th overall with a time of 28:32. Freshman Weston Asselin (Agawam, Mass.) place 350^th (32:04), while senior Adam Kuzdzal (Chicopee, Mass.) was three spots back at 353^rd at 32:22. Freshman Nic Kane (Uncasville, Conn.) checked in at 357^th with a time of 32:53, and junior Joshua Diaz Rolon (Chicopee, Mass.) was 360^th at 33:03.

On the women's side, the Blazers finished 54^th out of 57 teams. Sophomore Sarah Tatgenhorst (Winterport, Maine) posted the top finish for Elms, taking 248^th with a time of 25:57. Senior Emma Bernard (Springfield, Mass.) came in at 336^th (28:20), followed by sophomore Sarah Kaczenski (Northfield, Mass.) in 352^nd at 28:56. Freshman Carissa Costanza (Holyoke, Mass.) took 361^st with a time of 30:01, and senior Jacqueline Quetti (Pittsfield, Mass.) was four spots back in 365^th at 30:40.
