Cross Country Wraps Season at NCAA DIII New England Championships

WATERFORD, Conn. – The Elms College men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their 2015 season at the 2015 NCAA Division III New England Regional Cross Country Championship Saturday afternoon at Harkness Memorial State Park.

The men's squad finished 53rd out of a 55-team field in the men's draw. Freshman Keith Brown (Hartford, Conn.) finished 228th overall with a time of 28:32. Freshman Weston Asselin (Agawam, Mass.) place 350th (32:04), while senior Adam Kuzdzal (Chicopee, Mass.) was three spots back at 353rd at 32:22. Freshman Nic Kane (Uncasville, Conn.) checked in at 357th with a time of 32:53, and junior Joshua Diaz Rolon (Chicopee, Mass.) was 360th at 33:03.

On the women's side, the Blazers finished 54th out of 57 teams. Sophomore Sarah Tatgenhorst (Winterport, Maine) posted the top finish for Elms, taking 248th with a time of 25:57. Senior Emma Bernard (Springfield, Mass.) came in at 336th (28:20), followed by sophomore Sarah Kaczenski (Northfield, Mass.) in 352nd at 28:56. Freshman Carissa Costanza (Holyoke, Mass.) took 361st with a time of 30:01, and senior Jacqueline Quetti (Pittsfield, Mass.) was four spots back in 365th at 30:40.
