Bigos Named First-Ever NECC Women's Cross Country Runner Of The Week

BIGOS NAMED FIRST-EVER NECC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK

ATTLEBORO, MA, Sept. 8, 2008 - Elms College senior Jill Bigos (Florence, MA) was named the first-ever New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Monday, September 8.

Bigos' recorded a time of 21:10 in the 4,000-meter women's race to place 123rd out of 175 runners in a field of Division I, II and III runners at last Saturday's Trinity Invitational.

The Blazers return to action at the Smith Invitational on Saturday, September 13.
