Women's Volleyball Earns No. 2 Seed In NECC Tournament

ATTLEBORO, MA, Oct. 27, 2008 - The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) has announced pairings for the upcoming women's volleyball conference tournament and Elms College has earned the No. 2 seed.

The Blazers (9-13) earned one of two byes in the six-team tournament and now advances to Saturday's semifinal and championship round, which will be hosted by top-seeded Daniel Webster (14-7).

In Saturday's second semifinal, Elms College will face No. 3 Becker (11-14) at 1:00 p.m.

From there, the winner advances to the championship match at 3:00 p.m. to face the winner of the other semifinal between Daniel Webster and No. 4 Lesley (9-10).
