Croteau Named NECC Rookie Of The Week

CROTEAU NAMED NECC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

ATTLEBORO, MA, Sept. 29, 2008 -  Elms College women's volleyball freshman middle hitter Stacy Croteau (Agawam, MA) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week on Monday, September 29.

Croteau combined for 19 kills, seven digs, two aces and two blocks to help the Blazers post a pair of 3-0 sweeps over NECC foes Bay Path and Becker last week.

In the win over Bay Path, Croteau matched her collegiate career-high with 10 kills.

For the year, Croteau has knocked down 60 kills and added 60 digs.
