Women's Volleyball Eliminated From NAC Tournament

 WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ELIMINATED FROM NAC TOURNAMENT 

CASTINE, ME, Nov. 3, 2007 - Elms College junior outside hitter Jeannette Nunez (Canovanas, Puerto Rico) registered eight kills and 10 digs, but the No. 3 Blazers fell 3-0 (30-28, 31-29, 30-15) to No. 2 Husson in the semifinals of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Volleyball Tournament on Saturday at Castine, Maine.

Elms College, which was making its first-ever appearance in the conference tournament semifinals, was eliminated and finished its season 11-13.

Sophomore setter Kim Phillips (Randolph, MA) handed out 20 assists and senior outside hitter Kristen Havey (Methuen, MA) added 18 digs for the Blazers, whose 11 wins were the most in the program's six-year history.
