HARTFORD, CT, Feb. 4, 2009 - Elms College sophomore Alison McBride (East Providence, RI) earned the highest individual finish for the Blazers in women's swimming losses to both Trinity (239-50) and Mount Holyoke (200-72) on Wednesday night.

McBride placed third in the 50-yard breaststroke (39.30) for Elms College, which fell to 3-13.

Freshman Ashley Arbo (Rocky Hill, CT) was fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (6:13.37) in the loss.

The Blazers conclude the dual-meet portion of their 2008-09 schedule on Saturday, February 7 at St. Joseph (CT). Meet time is 1:00 p.m.
