Women's Swimming Competes At Second Day Of NEISDA Championship

NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA., Feb. 16, 2008 - Elms College sophomore Liz Walker (Holyoke, MA) placed third overall in the final heat of the 100-yard breaststroke at New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships on Saturday.

Through Saturday's events Elms College currently stands in 18th place with 42 team points.

Walker earned a third place finish by recording a time of 1:10.46.  Walker was barely edged by Western Connecticut freshman Megan Dyson (Farmington, CT) (1:10.42) and Bently junior Kaitlin Chepeleff (Vernon, CT) (1:08.18).  

Senior Kaity Jo Bryll (Hartland, CT) placed 23rd in the preliminary heat of the 200-yard freestyle.
