  WOMEN'S SWIMMING DEFEATS WHEELOCK, 79-41

BOSTON, MA, Nov. 4, 2006 - Elms College freshman Marie Waterhouse (East Longmeadow, MA) won a pair of events to help the Blazers earn a split of Saturday's double-dual women's swimming meet at Simmons College.

Waterhouse registered first-place finishes in both the 50-yard and 100-yard backstroke for Elms College (1-1).

The Blazers return to action on Saturday, November 11 at Western Connecticut State University in a double-dual meet that will also feature St. Joseph College (CT).
